Bow, NH Single Family Home Sales Were Weak In April But Look For Improvement In May

Two single family home sales closed in April in the town of Bow. Sales were off to a slow start in January with one sale closing. February produced five sales and things looked promising but then another slow down in March with only two sales, then April with two. The average and median sale price was $206,500. Average time on market was 200 days and Seller’s got about 95% of their asking price.
It is encouraging that there are eight homes currently under contract waiting to close. The average asking price of these homes is $349,584 with a median price of $319,850. Average time on market of these sales is 108 days.
At the time of this posting there were 95 homes available for sale in Bow with an average price of $409,076 and a median price of $359,900. Prices range from $134,900 to $1,250,000. Average time on market so far is 159 days. New construction currently accounts for about 24% of the market in Bow. There are two homes priced over a million dollars.
Bow, New Hampshire is a town of a little over 8,000 people situated just south of Concord. The town consists of 28.1 square miles and the population density is very low. Schools are well-regarded and there is very little crime reported in the town. The town was named Bow because it was built along an arch or “bow” in the Merrimack River. Bow is a wonderful place to live!
