Condominium Market In Bow, NH Remained Unchanged In May

As of this posting there are 38 condominiums available for sale in Bow, ranging in price from $179,900 to $384,900. The average list price is $300,920 with a median price of $299,900. The average time on market for these homes is a lengthy 485 days so far.
There were no sales reported in May and there are no sales in contract waiting to close. It is interesting to note that there were also no sales in May of 2008.
Perhaps the reason for this lack of sales is due to the fact that the majority of the condominiums for sale in Bow are designated active adult retirement communities for those who are 55 years of age or older. These potential condominium buyers may be in process of trying to sell their current home in order to downsize to a maintenance free lifestyle.
Signs of Recovery for the New Hampshire Housing Market
There has been a steady increase in home sales in many areas of New Hampshire since the beginning of the year. There may be no better time to buy a home than now, with interest rates at all time lows and reduced home prices. Financing options are plentiful for qualified buyers with FHA financing being the popular choice for those with limited down payments.
The town of Bow, NH is a thriving community and popular for residents of all ages due to its close proximity to shopping and the many cultural amenities that Concord has to offer. Located just off Interstates 93 and 89, the city of Boston, the bustling Seacoast, New Hampshire’s beautiful White Mountains and pristine lakes are all within about an hour’s drive or less. Bow also offers a very active Parks and Recreation Department offering activities for all ages.
